5G Wi-Fi is the next evolution for Home Internet services that will offer customers high-speed and reliable internet connectivity on the first 5G network in Kenya.

*How do I get connected?

*How much does it cost?

To start you off, you will either need to:

1. Buy a 5G Router from Kes 12,999. This will be a one-off cost; or
2. Sign up on a 18-month contract and be provided with the router for free. This will be subject to credit vetting and terms and conditions of the contract.

The SIM card will be provided to you at Safaricom Shop or select dealers countrywide.

The 5G routers available subject to availability of stock are:

*How do I renew my 5G Wi-Fi Internet Package?

To renew the 5G Wi-Fi Internet package, you can either

1. Visit MySafaricom App and select 5G Wi-Fi
2. Dial *400# and Select 5G Wi-Fi

*What do I do when the data volume is depleted?

You can purchase another data package via *400*4# Option 1 – Buy 5G plans

*Will my 5G Wi-Fi Internet Packages rollover?

5G Wi-Fi Internet Packages are valid for 30 days. Any unused data after 30 days is expired.

*Can I use my 5G Internet Packages anywhere?

Yes, 5G Wi-Fi Internet packages will work in areas that have both 5G and 4G Network coverage.

*Does my 5G for Home Wi-Fi require a password?

Yes, the password (WI-FI KEY) is printed on the back of the Router.
